Silver Heart Award Spotlight: Marrilyn, Ohio Living Sarah Moore

Warm and welcoming to all, Marrilyn, who works as an activities assistant at Ohio Living Sarah Moore, knows that every job that must be done can involve an element of fun.
As a 10-year tenured employee, Marrilyn is very knowledgeable about the community and pitch hits for other teams often, always with resident needs at the forefront.
Her colleague shared, “Marrilyn is the very definition of excellence. She brings high energy during activities and a deep desire to provide meaningful, daily engagement opportunities for our residents. She has high personal standards and because of this, the Ohio Living Sarah Moore staff honor and respect her. Her open faith, big smile, and contagious laugh also make her fun to be around.”
She continued, “In the Nursing department, Marrilyn regularly answers call lights. She helps the residents she can and gets specialized help from an STNA or nurse when needed. In the CNS department, she often stays after her shift and works as a server. Her unique knowledge of our residents, from assisted living and healthcare, makes her a natural in this role. Excellence is her every day!”
