Hospice patient delighted by Jennifer Aniston poster on his wall

When a hospice patient needed some decoration for his wall, caregivers at Ohio Living Home Health & Hospice in Greater Akron knew exactly who to find: Jennifer Aniston.

You see, James Cook is a huge Aniston fan.  And last month when his nurse, Erin, asked him who he enjoyed, James replied that he liked the 48-year-old Friends actress.

As part of Ohio Living’s Make It Happen program, Volunteer Coordinator Daphne Massaro bought a poster of a smiling Jennifer Aniston and presented it to James.  The Make It Happen program provides special moments for hospice patients nearing the end of their lives by fulfilling their life-enhancing wishes.

When Nurse Erin presented the poster to James, he was stunned.

“He was thrilled, excited and loved the poster so much,” said Massaro.  “He was quite animated by the presentation and kept reaching out his hands to her.”  Photos from the presentation show James in awe, placing his hands on his face when the poster was revealed.

James can look at his favorite actress each and every day as the poster now hangs in his room.
