Spiritual Life Endowment Campaign Kicked Off at Dorothy Love

Dorothy Love Retirement Community kicked off a $2 million Endowment Campaign for Spiritual Life, Executive Director Ann Roller announced. Donors, residents, family members, staff and local clergy gathered in the Oliver and Peg Amos Chapel for a special chapel service to kick off the campaign and celebrate 85 years of spirituality and caring at the retirement community. Dorothy Love, an ecumenical retirement community, is located at 3003 West Cisco Rd.

Lake Vista Receives Medicare Certification

Executive Director Mary Cochran today announced that Lake Vista of Cortland has received Medicare certification for its new Nursing and Rehabilitation Center-- meeting the criteria set forth by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Medicare covers people who are either age 65 and over, or who meet other special criteria.

Lake Vista Opens Rehab and Skilled Nursing Unit

Executive Director Mary Cochran today announced that Lake Vista of Cortland, 303 N. Mecca St., received its licensure from the Ohio Department of Health for its new Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Adding skilled nursing and rehabilitation care makes Lake Vista a full continuing care retirement community to better meet the increasing demands of its current residents and the growing needs of older adults in the Cortland area.
