About Dan Ginis, New Chief Development Officer

Posted on July 16, 2018 in In The News

Dan Ginis has been appointed Chief Development Officer of the Ohio Living Foundation. He is the second leader of the Ohio Living Foundation since its founding in 1986.

Ginis comes to Ohio Living with more than 25 years of strategic leadership experience, having served in senior management roles at the Michigan Humane Society, University of Michigan, Jewish Federations in greater Atlanta and metropolitan Detroit, and the Detroit Symphony Orchestra. He has revitalized underperforming major gifts programs; led capital campaigns that exceeded goals; managed major gift portfolios; enhanced volunteer and board leadership capacity; and integrated several departments into cohesive teams.

“After an extensive search, we’ve found Dan to be uniquely qualified to both handle the sophistication of our Foundation and to seize new opportunities for the future,” says CEO Laurence Gumina. “For more than three decades Ohio Living Foundation has consistently advanced the mission of Ohio Living, and I’m excited that Dan is on board to continue that great work and successfully lead our Foundation into the future.”

“Ohio Living provides critical services to vulnerable populations, touching the lives of so many who need support,” says Ginis. “It is an exciting time to join an industry leader and help them build upon their amazing past success.”
