Thanks to the generosity of donor support, another high quality living option will soon be available at Dorothy Love Retirement Community located at 3003 West Cisco Rd. Residents, staff and community leaders today gathered for a groundbreaking ceremony to celebrate the new Suites at Dorothy Love. The 2,112 sq. ft. addition will contain two two-room suites located in Health Care West. Jean Morgan has been named Executive Director for Swan Creek Retirement Village. Swan Creek, located at 5916 Cresthaven Lane in Toledo, is a division of Ohio Presbyterian Retirement Services (OPRS). Morgan will begin the leadership position July 9.$7,000 Grant from Nationwide Foundation Earmarked for Westminster-Thurber Benevolent Fund

The Nationwide Foundation has contributed $7,000 to the Life Care Commitment -- Westminster-Thurber Community’s benevolent fund. Westminster-Thurber, a not-for-profit continuing care retirement community near downtown Columbus, uses Life Care to assist residents who, through no fault of their own, have outlived their resources and are unable to pay for the cost of their housing or medical care.

Hanzie Named Administrator for Rockynol Retirement Community

Rockynol Executive Director Leslie Belfance today announced Kara Hanzie has been named Administrator for the retirement community located at 1150 West Market Street, Akron. Hanzie comes to Rockynol from Ohio KePro and has nine years experience in long-term care.

Spiritual Life Endowment Campaign Kicked Off at Dorothy Love

Dorothy Love Retirement Community kicked off a $2 million Endowment Campaign for Spiritual Life, Executive Director Ann Roller announced. Donors, residents, family members, staff and local clergy gathered in the Oliver and Peg Amos Chapel for a special chapel service to kick off the campaign and celebrate 85 years of spirituality and caring at the retirement community. Dorothy Love, an ecumenical retirement community, is located at 3003 West Cisco Rd.
