Minnesota Twins fan gets to see his favorite team in Cleveland

A lifelong baseball fan was treated to an unforgettable day at the ballpark thanks to our Ohio Living Home Health & Hospice team in Greater Toledo and the Make It Happen program.

Hospice patient Leonard Clark is an avid Minnesota Twins supporter, and when Volunteer Coordinator Jennifer VanVorhis (who is also a Twins fan) saw they were in Cleveland to play the Indians in mid-May, she arranged for a trip to Progressive Field.

Jennifer contacted the Twins’ Guest Services Director, who gave Leonard a hat, t-shirt and four tickets the game.  He was able to enjoy this wonderful experience with his two sons, Lee and Larry.

The trip was made possible through the Make It Happen program, which brings special moments of joy and meaning to those nearing the end of their lives by fulfilling their life-enhancing wishes.  A big thank you also goes out to everyone at Ohio Living Home Health & Hospice Greater Toledo and the Minnesota Twins organization.
