Silver Heart Award Spotlight: Tim, Ohio Living Home Health and Hospice – Greater Toledo

Counting our blessings, and Silver Heart Award recipient Tim is among them. Tim endlessly gives of his time to nurture clients and their families, as well as Ohio Living Home Health and Hospice staff.
Tim is someone who embodies Ohio Living’s mission and shares it with everyone around him. He is an innovator and a valuable team member who always says, “Ohio Living is doing the work Jesus did.”
His colleagues shared, “Working in hospice takes a toll our hearts and souls, as we give so much of ourselves to those we care for. Tim takes the time to really be sure the staff has a place to land when they are feeling tired or vulnerable with their own buildup of grief. In addition, he also remains available at all hours to tend to our families and clients’ needs and be their buffer of support.”
They continued, “As far as this award, I truly cannot think of anyone more deserving than Tim. He demonstrates all the traits and beyond: unwavering loyalty, grit, hardiness, stamina, tenacity and perseverance. He shines his light each day, and brings it to our team, clients and the community. In fact, he is more than a silver heart; he deserves a GOLD!”
