Don’t Grieve Alone

Lake Vista of Cortland will be offering a Grief Support group the 2nd Tuesday of each month for those who have lost a loved one or are experiencing a loss. It will take place at Lake Vista of Cortland’s multi-purpose room in the Park Place apartment building. TCTC’s Community Co-Op program is being hosted at Lake Vista of Cortland for the 2010-2011 school year. Community Co-Op is a Special Needs program for students who have been tested, evaluated, and recommended by a certified vocational evaluator, regardless of educational, economic, and/or physical disadvantage. The program is a one-year opportunity for students to prepare for entry-level jobs in the hospitality industry.

Lake Vista of Cortland will dedicate The Haynam Walkway September 2, 2009 at 11 a.m. on campus at 303 North Mecca Street. Friends, family and associates will gather to thank Lake Vista resident and donor Jane W. Haynam, whose gift made the walkway possible and to honor Mrs. Haynam’s late husband Harvey Haynam.
