Ohio Living Lands Fortune Recognition For the Fourth Time!

The rumors are true: Ohio Living has been nationally ranked at #23 on Fortune magazine’s list of Best Workplaces in Aging Services for 2022. It’s the fourth time Ohio Living has made the Fortune list since its inception in 2018.
Over 243,000 employees working in the United States senior housing and care industry weighed in to determine the results of the Fortune rankings. Ohio Living’s certification as a Great Place to Work® is what qualified it to be considered for this prestigious honor.
“I’m really proud of the culture we have at Ohio Living,” says Laurence Gumina, Ohio Living CEO. “2022 marks 100 years that our organization has been caring for Ohioans as they transition through life. What we do is a calling, and our incredible team members are the key to our success.”
As a faith-based, not-for-profit organization, Ohio Living identifies ten beliefs at the core of its operation — inclusiveness, respect, innovation, dedicated staff and volunteers, high ethical standards, high-quality and caring service, being a good neighbor, responsiveness, financial stability and open dialogue. Its culture of appreciation and recognition is designed to reward living out each of these values. “Our team members embody these foundational beliefs each day, and I am proud to support and serve along them,” Gumina says.
