Ohio Living Mount Pleasant Employee of the Month for August

Our employee spotlight for this month is Tanya! Tanya is a STNA at Ohio Living Mount Pleasant. She has worked at our campus for seven years. “The first time I became a STNA was in 1994, I was 17 years old. Since then I have worked many jobs, including factory, I never felt like my time mattered doing this kind of work. But working taking care of others makes me feel I’m doing God’s work and to see my residents smile means the world to me.” Tanya believes her work feels like the foundation to Mount Pleasant. “I feel [we] are the backbone [because] we see things before anyone.” One of the most rewarding things about her role is the residents. “I’m so happy to be a helping hand to our wonderful residents, they mean the world to me.” Furthermore, Tanya discussed some of her favorite hobbies. “In my off time I love to go fishing, sewing, crocheting, cooking, singing and spending time with the ones I love. I really enjoy life and everything in it. We are blessed every day we wake up.” Pictured is Tanya and her fiancé. Please take a moment to thank Tanya for all she does!
