Mount Pleasant Names O'Neal as Gift Planning Director

Whitney O'Neal of Crestview Hills, Ky., has been named gift planning director, serving Mount Pleasant Retirement Village.

O'Neal began her position Monday, July 16. She will manage the continuing care retirement community's charitable gift program, cultivating and supporting Ohio Presbyterian Retirement Services Foundation donors.

O'Neal has been raising funds for nonprofit organizations for 26 years.

Most recently, she served as the director of advancement for Villa Madonna Academy in Villa Hills, Ky., where she increased charitable giving almost 50 percent. Prior to that, O'Neal expanded support by 30 percent as Caracole Inc.'s director of development and marketing.

"I wanted to work in a nonprofit environment where I could make a difference in people's lives and where the mission is woven into the fabric of the organization," O'Neal says.
