Mr. Redlegs, Mr. Perfect celebrate 'Reds Day' at Ohio Living Mount Pleasant

There was a sea of 'Red' at Ohio Living Mount Pleasant last week as residents and staff members celebrated Reds Day.

The day's festivities included a display of Hall of Fame memorabilia, classic ballpark foods, as well as a visit from Mr. Redlegs and "Mr. Perfect" Tom Browning.

Browning, a southpaw who debuted with the Reds in 1984,  pitched the twelfth perfect game in baseball history on September 16, 1988 against the Los Angeles Dodgers.  He also won the World Series with the Reds in 1990.  During the event, Browning told stories to residents about his time playing ball.  He retired with a 123–90 record, a 3.94 ERA and 31 complete games.

Meanwhile, mascot Mr. Redlegs entertained all with his muscles and dancing.  According to his official bio, Mr. Redlegs enjoys  "Taking Batting Practice, Grand Slams and Working on the Riverboats."

There was even a local barbershop quartet, the Lipstick Scoundrels, who shared their amazing voices.
