I recently attended a seminar and learned about the value of friendships as we age. I wanted to share a little information on this topic, so you can learn about the social, emotional, and physical benefits of friendship. As we age, social contact and friendships are often a priority need. Social wellness can have a profound impact on a person's ability to deal with stress.

The event was a huge success due to the support and hard work of many people throughout the Wilmington Community. Dorothy Love recently hosted the Shelby County Retired Teachers August Meeting. In lieu of paying for lunch, members brought school supplies which were then donated to the Salvation Army's "Tools for School" program.
