Hanzie Named Administrator for Rockynol Retirement Community

Rockynol Executive Director Leslie Belfance today announced Kara Hanzie has been named Administrator for the retirement community located at 1150 West Market Street, Akron. Hanzie comes to Rockynol from Ohio KePro and has nine years experience in long-term care.
Belfance noted Hanzie’s commitment to seniors is in line with Rocknol’s mission to provide older adults with caring and quality services toward the enhancement of physical, mental and spiritual well-being of our residents.
“We wholeheartedly welcome Kara to the Rockynol Family,” Belfance said. “She a wonderful addition in this important leadership position, and shares in our philosophy of only offering the highest quality, most compassionate care available today,” Belfance said.
Hanzie is a graduate of Ohio University with a bachelor degree in Long Term Care Administration. She lives in Akron with her husband, Rob and 10-month -old daughter, Abbey. Hanzie is from Corning in southeast Ohio.
