VOTE: Ohio Living Rockynol Nominated For SOAR Award
Ohio Living Rockynol has been nominated for the Summit Oscars for Aging Resources (SOAR) Award. It was nominated for an Online Community Award in the category of Aging in Place, which is given to a service provider in Summit County who provides excellence in their living environments for older adults.
The nominations were announced on March 30 by Mature Services. Winners of the Online Community Awards will be determined by the most online votes received. Voting is now open through May 1 at 5:00 p.m.
Mature Services created the prestigious SOAR Awards to acknowledge the good work being done in Summit County to support older adults’ ability to age successfully. The awards were created in response to the local, state, and national need to recognize the increasing number of adults ages 50 and older that require specific programs in order to remain independent and active in our communities. The awards’ aim is raise the profile of aging issues in Summit County while encouraging collaboration between people, businesses, government and nonprofit service providers.
Winners of the Online Community Awards will be determined by the most online votes received.
The award ceremony will be held May 27 at The Tangier in Akron.
