Ohio Living Sarah Moore chef Tod Priest volunteered last week for the second year in a row at the 15th annual Soups for Shelter event in Delaware.
Priest led the kitchen at St. Mary School Beitel Commons on Wednesday, helping staffers prepare homemade soup, bread, and dessert to benefit Habitat for Humanity of Delaware and Union Counties. For $15, ticketholders could enjoy unlimited soup, which included a ceramic bowl made by students at St. Mary's Catholic School.
"It is because of [Priest's] leadership in the kitchen (that) helped the evening to flow without any problems," said Habitat for Humanity Volunteer Coordinator Linda Warren. "[His] guidance in the kitchen was so appreciated."
