We serve people of all faith traditions and we employ people from differing faith traditions and backgrounds as well. It is out of this diversity that we find strength and allows us to support others in their faith walk. With a full-time ordained chaplain, our mission is to serve others and meet them where they are on their journey.
At Ohio Living, our faith heritage has been the foundation for all that we do. We have been guided by these faith-based values and a strong relationship with community churches is one way that we live out these values.
ChaplainUnlike many other retirement communities, Ohio Living employs full-time chaplains who work hard to foster the spiritual life that is so important to residents. Through their dedication, wonderful events are planned, often bringing in outside congregations and religious leaders to speak or lead worship services.
Reed ChapelReed Chapel is the dedicated space for the worship, prayer, meditation and religious study for the village. It functions as a visible emblem of faith and an anchor of Ohio Living's mission.
It is a welcoming space for persons of all faiths.
It is home to the several regular weekly worship services, both Protestant and Catholic, and provides a setting for the more intimate and unscheduled prayer and meditation of individuals, families and small groups.
Reed Chapel, sometimes in conjunction with the adjacent Marsh Center, is used for a variety of community events such as memorial services and other occasional services of worship, our Annual Memorial Service, concerts, cultural events, speakers and campus-wide meetings.
