My son and my daughter will soon be graduating from The Ohio State University. This is a proud time in my life. However, after a conversation with my daughter Annie last week, I’m not feeling too proud of myself as a daughter. Annie is so excited about starting her new life, having her own job and money – but she is most excited about being able to help me out financially covering the costs of her education. She made me proud but also made me hang my head.

According to the Greeting Card Association, an estimated one billion Valentine cards are sent each year, making Valentine's Day the second largest card-sending holiday of the year (after Christmas).
