Vineyard Red Hat Club Gives to Holiday Bureau

Members of the Sweet Belle Red Hatters gathered for a luncheon on December 1st at The Victorian Inn as their Christmas celebration. They all brought hats, gloves, and mittens for The Beacon’s Mitten Tree for the Holiday Bureau, as well as toys for the Salvation Army.

Annual Tea and Fashion Show

The Vineyard on Catawba hosted its 4th Annual Tea and Fashion Show on May 4, 2011. More than 80 residents, guests, and Red Hatters from Catawba and Willard gathered for an afternoon of fun, refreshments, and fashion. Clothing and accessories were from New Port Dry Goods. Shirley Brenner is shown wearing the latest look for summer.

Condominium living is preferred by today’s’ 55 plus generations for a few reasons. The fast paced lifestyle of today’s working population make condo living even more appealing in retirement years. As people approach retirement, more thought is given to enjoying life to its fullest and condo living affords that opportunity. Not having to worry about when the lawn is going to get cut, how or when the snow will get shoveled allows for people to focus on doing the things or participating in the activities that are most important like watching the grandkids school activities or taking in sporting events, traveling or any number of things the fast paced working years did not allow ample time for.
