TripleCare at Mount Pleasant

What is TripleCare?

In an effort to remain at the forefront of innovation in the provision of superior care, Ohio Living Mount Pleasant continually implements new programs designed to enhance the quality of care and patient satisfaction. In collaborating with top doctors in the telemedicine field, Ohio Living Mount Pleasant has introduced TripleCare, an afterhours telemedicine program allowing for advanced on-site acute care services for our patients 365 days per year. This one-of-a-kind program is designed to provide patients with immediate access to a physician to ensure that non-emergent conditions are quickly identified, stabilized and treated so that unnecessary re-hospitalizations do not occur.

Most nursing and rehabilitation centers do not have doctors on site after hours. If a patient has a serious medical issue, it will most likely result in a trip to the emergency room. This usually means hours of waiting, a sudden change in environment, and a stressful disruption to his or her life.

Nursing Centers that partner with TripleCare can help prevent this. By using state-of-the-art telemedicine tools, TripleCare’s doctors can speak directly with, examine, and help treat patients, without having to leave their beds. TripleCare doctors work closely with nurses and nursing center doctors to help prevent patients from taking an unnecessary trip to the hospital.

Triplecare in Action

Dr. David Chess visits patients from hundreds of miles away with Telemedicine and walks nurses through exams. He believes "getting the doctor to the bedside when a patient was ill would make an enormous difference in people's lives."
