Ohio Living, Bethany Village Team Up to Expand Hospice Care

Expanded access to hospice care is coming to Dayton this summer through a new service provider, Ohio Living Bethany Hospice.

Ohio Living Bethany Hospice is a joint venture that brings together the shared expertise of Ohio Living Home Health & Hospice and Bethany Village. The two industry-leading senior living providers recently signed a special member agreement to offer hospice services in-house at Bethany Village, a senior living community in Centerville, and throughout portions of Montgomery and Greene counties. Ohio Living and Bethany Village are also partners in Perennial Advantage, an owner-operated Medicare Advantage Plan.

“We are thrilled to create this partnership with Bethany Village to improve access and offer high quality hospice care,” says Laurence Gumina, Ohio Living CEO. “The combined talents of our team along with the strong brand promise of both organizations is yet another example of not-for-profit providers working together to expand care and support within the community.  We are proud to announce the creation of Ohio Living Bethany Hospice.”

“This partnership is exciting for many reasons as it reflects our commitment to providing comprehensive care that meets the evolving needs of our community,” added Judy Budi, Graceworks Lutheran Services CEO. “By combining hospice care with our existing services, we aim to offer a seamless continuum of compassionate support, empowering individuals and families during life's most challenging moments."

Lauren Coyle, Bethany Village Administrator adds, "Having the opportunity to provide input on the quality and service provided to our own residents will be invaluable in ensuring their well-being and satisfaction within our senior living community.”

The new hospice office will be located on the campus of Bethany Village and anticipates admitting new patients as soon as July 2024. Career opportunities are available and include a variety of home health and hospice positions. Visit careers.ohioliving.org to learn more and apply.
