Brad Reynolds is a native of Wilmington and graduate of Wilmington High School. He earned his BA and MA from The Ohio State University. Following graduation, he worked for 12 years in utilities, banking, and city government before launching a 24-plus year career in senior living.
From 1990 to 2010, he served as Chief Human Resources Officer for Ohio Living and was part of the original Ohio Living team that acquired Ohio Living Cape May from Westover Senior Services in 1998. After serving in the Ohio Living corporate human resources leadership role for 20 years, Brad moved from Columbus, Ohio, to Germantown, Maryland, where he served in an executive role with another senior living organization, Asbury Communities. He returned to Ohio in late 2014 and remained close to senior living through consulting with several nonprofit life plan community leaders and their boards.
During the 20 years he was with Ohio Living, Brad was active in the greater community. He served on several boards of directors and trustees – including The Ohio State University’s Marion Regional Campus, Boards of Education for Olentangy Local Schools and the Delaware Ohio Area Career Center, Liberty/Powell YMCA, and was an adjunct professor at Franklin University in Columbus.
Brad is thrilled to be the executive director at Cape May and a part of the Ohio Living family. “The passion I have for serving older adults and those who care for them was born during my years with [Ohio Living]. In many ways, I feel as if I never left [Ohio Living]. My love of the organization’s mission is deeply ingrained in who I am and drives my need to serve others.”
