Silver Heart Award Spotlight: Patricia, Ohio Living Dorothy Love

Kudos to Silver Heart Award recipient Patricia, who exemplifies servant leadership in her role as a housekeeping and laundry manager at Ohio Living Dorothy Love.
Patricia works very diligently to make sure residents’ needs are met and “walks the walk” of leadership.
Her co-worker shared, “Patty is a true servant of God in her work here at Ohio Living Dorothy Love. She always has a smile on her face and goes above and beyond each and every day to keep this facility clean and shiny. Even if she has to do the work herself, while leading her team, she regularly steps up to set the example.”
Patty’s strong work ethic is evident to those around her, as is the kindness that she shows everyone. “I have never had a manager work as hard as she does,” commented one of her direct reports. “I have always been a big believer that you lead by example, and she is the person that truly lives that motto. There's much more to being a supervisor than sitting in an office, and we have that with ours!”
