Silver Heart Award Spotlight: Tessa, Ohio Living Cape May

Kudos to Silver Heart Award recipient Tessa, whose caring nature and work ethic shows in every interaction she has with residents at Ohio Living Cape May. She started her Ohio Living journey in the dietary department and has spent 7+ years serving in different capacities, most recently with the nursing team.
“Tessa excels in many areas, but one that stands out is that she is able to handle every situation with a calm, great attitude,” shared her colleague. “She is also very efficient, which gives her points in my book. Not only has she worked hard for Ohio Living Cape May, but also, she has persevered to meet self-goals. I have never heard anyone - resident or staff - say a negative word about Tessa.”
One interesting fact about Tessa is that she takes a week off each summer to volunteer as a nurse at a summer camp for children with special needs. On and off the clock, she goes above and beyond!
