The Shelby County Applefest Board of Trustees has announced Sabina Wilding, of Sidney, as the grand marshal of the 2014 Applefest Parade. Wilding is believed to be the county’s oldest surviving, female, World War II veteran. She is a resident of Dorothy Love Retirement Community.
