April 2024 Employee Spotlight: Lorie D., Housekeeper

For Lorie, Ohio Living Mount Pleasant holds family history. Joining her mother and sister, who both retired from working at the Monroe-based community, Lorie extends compassionate care as a housekeeper. This year, she will celebrate her fourth service anniversary.
Lorie says the most rewarding thing about her job is being able to listen to all her residents’ exceptional life experiences. “If you enter the healthcare field, it’s so important to have compassion,” she adds.
Outside of work, Lorie prioritizes family and enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren.
