October 2023 Employee Spotlight: Ashley H.

From Cincinnati to Monroe, our October employee of the month has been a value add to Ohio Living communities across the state during her tenure. Ashley H., transitional care liaison at Ohio Living Mount Pleasant, works with prospective residents seeking assisted living, memory care or independent living accommodations, as well as the greater community through the marketing department.
Her journey started at Ohio Living Llanfair, where she spent two years, prior to transitioning to Ohio Living Mount Pleasant. She says the most rewarding thing about this job is the number of positive interactions she gets to have on a day-to-day basis.
“The marketing department helps individuals navigate the challenges and unknowns of picking the perfect senior living community that fits their lifestyle,” she noted. “We help the community by providing education and a wonderful place for the aging community to live.”
On the home front, Ashley and her husband, Brenden, reside in Morrow, OH. They have been married for two years and met while working in the senior living industry. In January, they are expecting their first child. Outside of work, they enjoy bike riding, skiing, and being pet parents to two Cavalier King Charles pups named Gizmo and Gracie. They also enjoy travel and are currently planning a trip to Germany.
“Entering the healthcare field as a profession is a very wise decision,” adds Ashley. “It helps you understand more about it, so that you can navigate the system in your own life. It is also a very high-demand field that has job security and lots of opportunity for growth. The healthcare industry can be emotionally rewarding.”
